Question #12800007

Does the old antenna on top of my house use electricity?

There's a giant, ugly TV antenna on top of my house. It was there when we moved in in 2003 and we've never used it, never got around to taking it down. We're having new floors put in and there are cords from the antenna coming up from the floor. We want to snip off the cords so that the installers don't have to cut the ceramic tiles to fit around them but we don't want to get electrocuted in the process. Do you think it's safe to just snip those suckers off?
