I have a Sony DSC-WX300 the usb charging cable which is too large to connect to the camera to allow?

the correct one which goes into the bottom of the camera. This was purchased new from Amazon, it is a problem that Sony did not include the correct size micro usb charging cable. Is this a normal problem with this model camera. Are there different size connectors with this Micro USB charging cable where I can purchase one on E Bay or just return it to Amazon since I have not had it for 30 days now, an am unable to charge the battery in this new camera.
