Is it normal that youtube videos on 3G aren't that clear?

When I'm at home and using wifi, youtube videos are clear, when I'm not in a wifi zone, I turn on my 3G and youtube videos aren't as clear. Is this normal or should I call Apple about this? I have an iPhone 5c by the way.
