HELP! - No-one is answering - 10 points!?

I want to buy an unlocked phone / SIM-free, and under the specs it says "Handset Branding: Mixed/Not Recorded". What does that mean? Does the phone show carrier logo when booting up? And does the phone have the logo of the carrier (like T-Mobile etc) on the back or front of the phone? Thank you so much.
