Why does he do that ?

So I tried to get this chick couple of months ago I literally went mad and did mad things to get her, but nothing. She and her friends (females) ended up hanging out with my friends (males) so we ended up being friends, but I rarely see her. One of my friends did ask me if it is any problem if he tried with her. I didn't know what actually to say as it was the last thing I would expect from a close friend, so I just told him do what you want to do. In 10 hours I'll meet him and he for sure will tell me that he got the her, but I don't know what to do anymore with this situation. Help please :)
