37 weeks with uncomfortable cramps?

I am 37 weeks today, and had a lot of pressure yesterday, and then today I was having cramps like before you start your period on and off. Then I walked to town and thought I had to use the bathroom. This time the kinda cramps you get if you have diarrhoea (TMI) but I didn't... Is this normal? This is my second baby so you'd think I'd know but I never had a cramp or BH with my first and my water broke on it's own with no other signs at 36w6d.
