Ipod touch 4gen Touch screen has broken PLEASE HELP!!!?

OK my parents bought a Ipod Touch 4gen at WALMART and i was wondering if i could bring it to a apple store and get a new one..... YES IT BROKE A KID KNOCKED IT OUTA MY HAND TODAY IN SCHOOL AND IT LANDED FLAT ON ITS SCREEN. i have only had since last christmas and this is the first time i ever dropped it.....
