Question #13150014

Is going to Ryerson University for Biomedical Sciences a bad choice if I want to go to Medical School?

Im thinking of going to Ryerson for biomedical sciences and applying to medical school afterward. Ryerson isn't as prestigious as other universities but its close to my home and it is a pre-med program. Do you think going to a "easier" university for pre-med is a bad decision and will students who went to "harder" universities be ahead of me? My brother said it doesn't matter what uni you go to because you're getting the same education. Is that true? I also applied to UTSC and Waterloo Uni.
