Opinions Needed: Does He Like Me Or Not?

Met this guy on tinder app and we exchanged messages for a while then he eventually shared his phone number since I wasn't really responding to his messages. (We also have a mutual fb friend so he is def a real person) For the past few days he has initiated every text and he always includes one or two smileys. In fact this morning he texted me good morning :) We actually have a lot of things in common and the other day he invited me to watch his football game. Keeps on also saying that he is excited to hang out. Do think he likes me or is just looking for a hookup?
