Question #13200117

WOMEN: Would you Date/Marry a Man with Mental Illness?

I'm not talking about "Socially Acceptable" Mental Illnesses like Depression, Anxiety or anything like that, and I'm not talking about Neurological/Learning Disabilities like Autism, Aspergers, Etc. I mean Psychotic and other MH Conditions like: Schizophrenia, Bipolar (Especially Type 1), Schizoaffective Disorder, Personality Disorders, Etc I ask because I'm a 22 Year Old Male who is mostly "normal" for the most part. Sociable, I work for a living, have my own place, have hobbies, and without sounding arrogant or conceited I'm considered Coventionally "Good Looking" by others - i'm 6'2" Tall, Keep in Good Shape by going to the Gym, Dark Hair, Blue Eyes But I have been in Mental Health Treatment since my teens, I am diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder and I've been hospitalised and put on various different kinds of Mood Stabilisers and Antipsychotics to treat it because I've had numerous Manic and Psychotic episodes (FYI I'VE NEVER BEEN A "DANGER" TO OTHER PEOPLE). It is under control now, but I find some Women don't want to know anymore when they find out. So I mostly keep it to myself. I'm in a Relationship right now with a Great Girl just so you know, but I'm curious to see what other Women think.
