Question #13200204

What should I be considering for my first apartment?

I'm pretty young, and when I say that I mean just turning 18, and me and my girlfriend want to move in together (yes I know we're a tad young), but I don't have any credit seeing as I don't use credit cards, and I was thinking of getting a studio so the rent and utilities aren't too out of budget and this way we can save up a tad. We've considered payment estimates, but is a studio apartment too small for the both of us? Can somebody give me any suggestions on what I should be looking for in Los Angeles with a monthly income of about $1200 for me and $1200 for her? The one I found is about $1050 monthly but I don't know. Can we make it work? Any suggestions or advice would be fantastic. Please and thank you!
