I want to un-crush my crush...?

Erkay, so I have this 4-month old crush (meaning I had a crush on him for 4 months not having a crush on a 4-month old baby wtf) haha and yeah, in those four months it was on and off and on and off all the way. Like one day I'm like "oh gosh he's the cutest thing alive" and the next is "uhm, nvm", I dunno. But, right now, I'm going bananers. It's like he's all that I think about. It's crazy. Now I want to un-crush him. I don't want to be.... this. I don't want to hope for something that may not happen. I mean, it can't. There are some reasons I can't 'like' him because it may lead into a relationship (in which I promised my parents I would not have unless I'm already 20 but maybe I'm just thinking way ahead of myself lol) I'm 14 btw. Also, we chat and there's this mutual guy friend of ours who told me that 'he' (my crush) likes me (That maybe the reason why I went nuts afterall) but he doesn't know that I like him. I'm afraid he doesn't like me as much as I like him. Another reason. Sooooo yeah. I need your help guys
