Why does my 5 year old cousin always stare at me?

My 5 year old cousin is always staring at me all the time and it makes me feel very self-conscious. Whenever I go around to my uncle's house I will just be sitting on the sofa reading or something and I look up and she is staring at me. No matter what she does, she just keeps staring at me like she's transfixed on me. Whenever we go on family walks, she will always try to get my attention by tripping over and then looking at me and smiling. Recently when I was at my Uncles' house, she kept staring at me loads and then I saw her whispering to my Aunt and then my aunt said 'do you want to go and talk to Erica, don't be shy'. and then eventually my aunt brought her over to the settee and she just cuddled up next to me and kept staring at me. Why is my 5 year old cousin always staring at me and trying to get my attention?
