Can you give me your honest personal opinion please?

My ex wrote me back after 5 months. He kept liking my photos before that. But anyways I apologized for the past. I was depressed and pushed him away & he told me he understood and not to worry. Could it still be possible he has feelings for me even though he texts me twice a day even when he's not busy? He tells me how he hasn't been able to enjoy the summer much cause of work *im aware this is polls and survey
