Ive had my lip pierced for 5 days.?

So ive had my lip pierced for about 5 days. But when i take my stud out to clean it i noticed some yellow stuff comes out of the lip piercing. Plus my lip still swells up sometimes and the back of the stud had dug into my lip where the area around the stud is become hard. Is this normal or what should i do about it
