how to tone down my really rosy cheeks?

I have really rosy cheeks. It looks like I'm consistently blushing! I've never been so bothered by it, but people are starting to make fun of me for them. Its just natural, and when I get warmer my face instantly gets hotter and more red. I don't want to completely eliminate them, but just tone them down so I stop getting made fun of. Will a green primer help? Suggestions? I don't want a really heavy foundation...
