Should I ask for a blood test right away after I discovered a deer tick on my child s head?

My 9 years old daughter started complaining about pain on her head a couple of days ago. In fact she started crying cause she said it was a burning sensation. I thought it was a scab that she had scratched and since later on she said the pain was gone then I didn t check thoroughly. One day after the pain reappeared and this time I found the tick on her head. I took her to urgent care for a safety removal of the tick. They told me to check for symptoms. They didn t do any labs at the time. But I am extremely worried. Our neighbor across the street got infected with Lyme disease this summer I think that is very scary. Should I request an exam even if no symptoms show right away?
