Why would women rather date killers than some dude with a job and normal personality but is not great looking?

Women would rather date some guy that would end up killing them and dumping them in the woods than some "loser" with a job, retirement plan, etc. If the guy is not great looking and has a few health problems. Because I am not great looking I have to live and die alone? I tried online dating I only messaged women I did not think were smoking hot I literally messaged everyone else and got 2 messages out of 200 and it was not like interested in dating/meeting one women was mean and I did not say anything crazy. For example I have an good job and leave but I can't go on vacation this year because I don't have anyone to go with. Women say they want a guy with a good job that can afford to do things like an annual vacation etc then they don't actually want the dude unless he has that and is 6ft tall, white, perfect skin and hair ect. Ted Bundy had that and women were crazy for him.
