I can hear myself when I talk?

I have been sick and i finally got into the doctors today and they said i have a ear infection and fluid in my ears. They prescribe me amoxicillin (the stronger kind tho) but I i can hear myself in my head more and more and it s driving me crazy when will the meds make my ears normal again I m 15 years old
