Why do I have sores in my mouth and why are my gums swollen?

I m on amoxicillin, mucinex, and perisidone(steroid for infection) for a ear and sinus infection.. when I started using my medication 5 days ago my tongue started to get sores on it and my gums are swollen, is this an allergic reaction to my medicine?
