Question #14968167

Why does my kitten do this?

I recently got a kitten, he was 9wks and adopted. When I got him the shelter said he had been on respiratory medication. The first day he slept under the bed. The second day he slept in my bed. The third day he slept in the bed and I woke up to him with one paw on my chin and his mouth and nose on my cheek, he was sleep like that. Now he gets in my arms and just stares up at me. Gazing into my eyes til he drifts off to sleep. To paint a more detailed picture. When he does this he reminds me of one of those very tired kids who head falls back, wakes up and does it few more times til they give in and go lay down somewhere. Is this a normal thing for kittens? He also sleeps on his back with his paws in the air...Lol.
