Help with the cop call my parents?

I was caught with a boy making out and other things in the backseat of his car in a school parking lot at 2am and a cop came up to us, took our names and birthdays, took my friend's license and said he was doing it to make sure we weren't wanted. He didn't say he was calling our parents but will he?
