Would it be inappriopriate to wear my dancing shoes under my jeans going out?

I am an exotic dancer and I have a pair of 8 inch clear lucite heels that I wear for work. I want to wear them to go out to town. My jeans are pretty long and they cover pretty much all of the heels. Would it be inappriopriate to wear them going out ??
