I have bad earwax but my mom won't take me to the doctor?

My ears always get clogged up with wax all the time. My mother is a nurse, and so she tries to clean them once and a while with peroxide and an ear syringe. It never really works and they keep clogging. I want to tell her to take me to a doctor but she says she can do the same thing. I've seen videos on YouTube and whatnot of ear doctors cleaning out severe wax problems, so I can see that they do better. How do I have her take me even if she is hard to persuade?
