Should I start applying remedies to remove acne scars or should i heal and clear first my acne and then apply remedies?

Im 14 male and i have a mdeium amount of acne and some acne scars and open pores. I really don't know how to decide this. Should I clear my face first and treat my acne and then once it is all cleared up i apply the acne scars and pores remedies OR should I apply the remedies even though im still treating and clearing my acne on my face. HELP
