Black vision and dizziness upon standing?

Sometimes when I stand up after lying down or sitting, my vision goes black for a few seconds, and I have to grab onto the wall or furniture to keep from falling. Does this happen to anyone else, and is it normal? I'm a female in my 20's, and this happens roughly 4 times a day.
