How durable is my car key?

I drive a 2016 Toyota Corolla S. It uses a key with a chip and built-in remote. It took a dive off a fire escape on the 4th floor, bounced off the concrete, and still works like nothing happened. My boyfriend is worried three chip might be cracked and the key will randomly fail to start the car. Or perhaps after the next small fall off a table. So I guess my question is: how worried should I be?
