What age should I start wearing makeup?

My mom is super strict about me wearing makeup, and when I say makeup I don't mean 200 different Products like foundation, contour etc. but just some concealer, powder blush and mascara. All my mom let's me wear now is lip gloss. Though I am 12, my mom thinks I'm 7.
