Why don't I get emotional when someone dies?

A couple days ago my grandmother died and I didn't feel anything. I spent a lot of time with here but I wasn't emotional at all while other people were crying. My cat got run over and I didn't feel anything. I feel bad that I'm not sad about things like that.
