Why's my snake so skittish?

She's about a year old ball python I got from the pet store. I have one other python about 3-4 years old from a breeder. My oldest is and always has been the chillest little dude ever he gets a wiggly when I walk by his cage. He seems to enjoy handling and people. I know they don't have emotion but, I'm not sure exactly how to explain it. The youngest she's really well skittish. I hold her daily and she always has this oh lawd don't touch me human type reaction. She doesn't bit or come at me though. She just acts like I'm gonna eat her or something. Is there anything I can do to get her to chill out?
