How do i get closer to my grandmother?

She's getting old. I stay there 2 weeks in the summer and one week in the winter. Otherwise it's too far and expensive to visit. On the phone, she used to read bible scriptures with me, i am not VERY religious but i believe so i w as fine with this until she wanted me to "pray in tongues" with her. It freaked me out and i read it isn't a "holy" thing to do. So we quit doing that. I send her pics of my cat and me all the time but she just says "nice." We don't get each others texts a lot. When i am around her, she hates how i dress (black, ripped jeans, snapbacks, etc) so i tried to dress proper but she said it made me look fat. I was currently struggle with an ed and underweight so that hurt. I still do my best to dress proper anyway. I used to cook with her but she says i do everything wrong and blames all the mistakes on me. We have nothing to talk about because it always turns into an argument.
