Can interviewers find out how many time you got fired?

I worked at UPS for from Agu - Dec 2014 and got fired due to lost my temper. I had another job during that period, so I can leave that part out of my resume. But the question is what are the chances for interviewers to find that out? Any advice from professional hr personnel would be appreciated. Thanks.
