Would you hire a nanny with a mark on her driving record?

I have been looking for a nanny job but most of these require transportation of the kids and I have a major mark on my driving record. About two years ago I accidentally ran a red light and wrecked my car because someone ran into me. Everyone involved was fine although of course I still felt horrible about it. I realize the severity of this but it's something that will never happen again. If anything it has only made me a more careful driver. So, I would like some opinions. Despite having childcare experience and an otherwise good resume, would you hire me as a nanny? Or is my driving record too much to overlook?
