How to list your proficiency in a skill on your resume?

How do I list my level of experience with additional skills I list on my resume? Expert means I have a lot of experience obviously. And stating that I'm knowledgeable means I have less then one year experience. I've heard of listing my level in a skill as intermediate level. What else is there?
