Should I add a 3 month job on my resume?

I was at my last job 6 years and went to another job that I thought I would love, but it just does not have room for advancement and I am planning on moving. I am wanting to apply for other jobs with the same postion that has way more career opportunities! Would it make me look bad to just list the job where I no longer have worked 3 months or just add my currently job? I do not want to leave without another job in line
