Can I be around people who currently have mono if I just recovered and no longer show symptoms of mono?

I caught mono and I didn’t know it and kissed my girlfriend. I got my blood tested for it after having really bad symptoms. I just want to know if I could see my girlfriend after I recover from mono and if I could see her if she ends up being symptomatic?
