It s definitely from the 1980 s. Not the 70 s. I ve checked IMDB, but it s not helping. The protaganist is a blonde girl and she trying to save a roller rink from "bad guys" who look like long haired pirates/homeless guys. The love interest is a dark haired boy. I remember a scene of them falling into a pile of leaves and making out.
