Question #1822690

My 18 month old daughter sleeps averagely 12 to 14 hours a day, is that too much?

i, the mother, must sleep at least 9 hours a day to function. 8 hours is never enough for me. she is very much like me, looks like me, smiles like me, walks like me, we like exactly the same food....so is she just a child that sleeps more than other children? Like me sleep more than other adults? how can I let her sleep less? You see, yesterday I only let her nap one hour in the afternoon, last night she slept from 9pm to 10am this morning. she was very sound asleep, never cried. should I let her be or find ways to make her sleep less, and play more?
