Art project ideas needed!?

I need 12-14 pieces done on the same topic. My concentration(topic for pieces) is abandonment. I have a few ideas in mind but I need more! Any ideas of things I could do that show abandonment? It can be humorous, serious, satirical, anything really! thank you c:
