I think I broke my pinky toe can a doctor fix it or do I just have to wait it out?

I stubbed my toe a few weeks ago and it really hurt. Then turned black and blue. now it hurts every time I wear shoes or take them off it is an intense pain. What are some suggestions to help alleviate the pain it is difficult to wrap because it is the smallest toe.
