Question #2349981

What are "enumeration types" in C++?

Ive watched several videos and read some stuff but its all going over my head? So they are symbolic constants meaning they're value doesnt change and they are represented with a symbol? I guess I am also having trouble with why you would ever need to use that? Noone ever gives examples when they teach :-{
