Question #235964

Difference quotient help?

Cant seem to solve this difference quotient problem. The function is x/(x+1). Plugged into the difference quotient it is... [{(x+h)/(x+h+1)} - (x-1)]/h The answer is 1/(x+1)(x+h+1) but I need to see steps because I can't figure out the algebra here.
