I'm migrating to Canada, how is it like to live there?

I'm currently living in Egypt and moving to Canada next July. I'm currently doing my O-Levels (British System.) I heard that there's no british schools in Vancouver. My questions are: 1-What are the differences between the Canadian system and British system? 2-Is it eligible for immigrants to enter a public school in Canada? 3-What would be the best public (offering IB) in Vancouver?
