Where should my 1 year old nap at?

My son is 13 months old he sleeps in his crib at night and for his first 15 to 30 min nap he sleeps on the couch, but with his afternoon nap i like for him to be in a quiet room away form everything. He likes to go to sleep for a nap with me patting him and laying next to him so his crib is complicated to put him to sleep in. He is also a transplant paitent and was in and out of the hospital a lot for his first year so other then bed time he dislikes the crib...What should i do?
