facebooks slows my youtube or is it something else and can you help me please?

when i listen to music it stops but carry's on playing music and skips the video (the picture bit) etc wondering if it is face book or something else i checked my avg free scanner and no threats found so i guess not a virus so please help me thanks it is bugging me !
