What makes a person hard to forget?

Not particularly someone you were intimate with but someone you remember from the past. Where they mean to you? nice to you? different? Did they have extra ordinary talents? Did they have a beautiful smile? Did you have a crush on them? What do you think the main reason is when you have trouble forgetting someone?
