Singles and dating: question about making out with my girl?

How should I start? I'm thinking about like putting a movie on, just watch it with her for a bit, start kissing her, then like taking my hand and rubbing her inner thigh, but then what would be my next move? Could I reach around and pull her on top of me? Like have her sitting in my lap? I'm new to this, so don't laugh at me for asking this lol And don't say I'm too young either, I'm for sure old enough. I've just waited longer than most guys to get a girlfriend. Thanks.
