I have red skin above my lip?

Ok so I have eczema and I know it is common for people to get dry red skin above and around my lip. I've had this dry spot above my lip since January 2012 and it is still there. However, what it is now is that it is no longer dry, but only red. How do I get rid of the redness? It is seriously not dry anymore, but only red. HELP!
