I don't know if I'm ugly or not?

So where I live I never get hit on by guys or anything. My parents, and adults always tell me Im very beautiful...but I never get that from people where i live. The only time I get hit on is when Im in a different country. The "pretty girls" are usually the popular ones, the ones everyone wants to be around, the one that always gets their pictures liked and stuff. But that never happens to me so does that mean Im ugly?
