My pregnancy symptoms stopped but will no period?

For about a week I was having many (if not all) common pregnancy symptoms. I am still nauseous from time to time with headache and stomach aches. But the constant problems went away. I took a test a couple of days ago when experiencing these symptoms and it said negative! Is it all in my head? Can pregnancy symptoms just go away? Why haven't I started my period!? Am I pregnant?
